DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. — Davie County Schools announced it will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 3 due to overnight snowfall and hazardous road conditions.
Davie County Schools said they have been communicating with law enforcement and they have been made aware of multiple wrecks overnight.
The school district announced employees, will operate on Plan B, optional day, traveling only after roads are safe.
Asheboro City Schools, Randolph County Schools, and Lexington City Schools also announced they will be closed Tuesday, for staff it will be an optional teacher workday.
