CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. -- WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested for driving under the influence over the weekend in Concord.
According to the arrest warrant, Hardy was pulled over near the Charlotte Motor Speedway at 4545 Concord Parkway South Saturday after being involved in a single-vehicle crash. He was driving a white 2016 Cadillac CTS-V.
No one else was in the vehicle with Hardy when the crash occurred, officials said.
Hardy was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) after officials investigated the reason for the crash. He was taken to the Cabarrus County Detention Center and given a breath test.
According to officials, Hardy registered a .25 blood alcohol level, significantly higher .08 limit.
Hardy was fingerprinted and taken before a magistrate where he was given a written promise to appear in court. He was then turned over to the Cabarrus County Jail until signed out. His next court date is scheduled for April 16.
