WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A woman is injured after a stabbing in Winston-Salem Saturday.
Winston-Salem police said they arrived at the 2200 block of Bethabara Pointe Drive to find a 45-year-old woman suffering from injuries to her head shortly before 10 p.m.
She was taken to a hospital. Her injuries are non-life-threatening.
After initial investigation, officers discovered the woman and the suspect are acquaintances and were arguing when the suspect stabbed her in the head with a kitchen knife before leaving.
The investigation is ongoing.
