MEBANE, N.C. — Mebane Police are looking for a woman suspected of robbing the Wells Fargo Bank on S. Fifth Street this afternoon.
Police got a call about the robbery around 3:19 p.m.
They say a woman walked in to the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money.

Police say the woman was given an undisclosed amount of money, and then she left and got into a black Hyundai Santa Fe. Her last known direction was on Highway 119 South toward the interstate.
Police say the woman is described as approximately 5'11'' tall. She was wearing a dark jacket, knit cap, sunglasses, purse and jeans.
Police say no weapon was displayed and no one was hurt during the robbery.
