Woman accused of setting fire twice to Thomasville house in 2022

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Nearly two years after two separate fires at the same house in Thomasville, investigators arrested a woman accused of starting them. 

Deputies said Joy Ann Frazier, 41, turned herself in to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office on Thursday. 

She's accused of setting fire to a home on Jades Way in Thomasville on August 27, 2022, and then again on August 29, 2022. 

After a long investigation, the case was presented to the Randolph County Grand Jury. As a result, a true bill of indictment was issued on Frazier for felony first-degree arson, felony second-degree arson, and two counts felony obtain property by false pretense. 

Frazier was given no bond. Her next court date is March 25.
