1 person shot in Winston-Salem, police said

The suspect and victim are acquaintances, according to police.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — One person was shot in Winston-Salem at 5:06 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

Police responded to a reported shooting call on 3336 Old Greensboro Road. They found Rogelio Pack, 25, with a gunshot wound. Pack was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition, police said.

According to police, an argument broke out between Pack and the suspect. The suspect allegedly fired several rounds from a handgun, striking Pack, before fleeing in a red sedan.

The suspect and victim are acquaintances, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing. Police did not release suspect information.
