WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE:
Winston-Salem police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of Barry DeShawn Jones.
Officers said Jamaree Desean Washington was arrested and charged with felony murder on Wednesday. He appeared before the magistrate where he was given no bond.

The Winston-Salem Police Department says it is investigating a homicide after a 31-year-old man was shot and killed on Tuesday night.
According to the police report, officers responded to Eldora Street at 6:35 p.m. about a reported shooting. After arriving, they found Barry DeShawn Jones suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He died at the scene despite attempts by EMS to stabilize him.
The Winston-Salem Police Department says this was an isolated incident, and that Jones was specifically targeted by the person who killed him.
