WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Police Department said it is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday night.
Right before 8 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to an armed robbery at Cloverdale Market located at 2020 Cloverdale Ave. in Winston-Salem. When they arrived, officers were informed that "the suspect entered the business with a gun, demanded money and threatened personnel."
According to officers, the suspect fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the incident.
