Winston-Salem Pizza Hut robbed at knifepoint, police report

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — An 18-year-old is suspected of robbing a Pizza Hut with a knife in Winston-Salem on April 11, according to Winston-Salem police.

The teen threatened the cashier with a knife and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

Luckily, the clerk was not hurt by the incident.

Police later identified the suspect as Anthony Wilson.

The next day, April 12, WSPD's Criminal Investigations division arrested Wilson at his home, according to police.

Wilson was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and was given a $50,000 bond, according to officers. 

Wilson is being held in Forsyth County Detention Center. His first appearance is scheduled for April 13.
