WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — An investigation conducted by the Forsyth County Drug Task Force led to two arrests and the seizure of 22 pounds of cocaine, according to a press release.
According to the task force, their detectives combined with Homeland Security Investigations, the DEA and the ATF on the investigation. The investigation began after the agency received an anonymous tip.
A search warrant was conducted on Tea Tree Lane in Winston-Salem on Nov. 14, and officers found approximately 22 pounds of cocaine — which has a street value of $1 million dollars — along with $1,700 in cash.
Jamie Gonzalez Garcia, 26, was arrested and charged with felony trafficking cocaine, felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine, misdemeanor maintaining a dwelling and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a secured bond of $380,000.
Carlos Miguel Rivadeney Radina, 23, was arrested and charged with felony trafficking cocaine, felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a secured bond of $300,000.
