WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two men robbed a Dollar General at gunpoint Wednesday night, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
Police said it happened right after 9 p.m. at the Dollar General on 2981 S. Main Street. When officers arrived, they spoke with personnel who said two suspects wearing masks, armed with guns came in and took an unknown amount of money. They also said the suspects forced them to lie on the floor before they took off running.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) responded to assist with a K-9 track. A track was conducted; however, the suspects were unable to be found
None of the employees were injured during the incident.
This investigation is ongoing.
