WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A death investigation has now turned into a homicide investigation after a man's body was found in Winston-Salem.
According to the Winton-Salem Police Department, a call came in regarding the incident around 8 a.m.
Police responded to 615 Coliseum Drive following the call, where they found the body. Police said it appeared that the man now identified as Te’ore Eugene Terry, 35, had been shot.

This homicide marks the fourth homicide to occur in Winston-Salem in 2021, as opposed to two homicides for the same period of time in 2020.
