WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man has been arrested and charged with shooting two people at a Winston-Salem apartment complex.
Winston-Salem Police said on Monday, they found two people with multiple gunshot wounds inside the apartment on Nita Drive. Police said an argument led to the shooting between Johari McNair and the two victims. As they were arguing the victims closed the door leaving McNair outside. However, he then fired multiple shots into the door.
McNair is charged with 2 counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, 2 counts of Discharging Firearms into an Occupied Dwelling, 2 counts of Assault with Deadly Weapon in the Presence of a Minor.
McNair is in jail on no bond.
