GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police arrested a man for a murder that occurred in January 2024.
On June 14, Jose Luis Rea-Lopez, 32, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, according to police.
He is being held without bond, police said.
On Jan. 21, Greensboro police said they responded to the 300 block of W. Meadowview Road around 2:16 a.m. about a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found Gabriel Salazar-Lopez, 36, with life-threatening injuries in a gravel parking lot southwest of Bar Latino.
He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
