FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — A man is facing a murder charge after killing a Winston-Salem man overnight in Walkertown, according to Forsyth County deputies.
At midnight on Tuesday, deputies arrived at Cain Wood Court in Walkertown about a reported shooting where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the face.
Deputies did CPR until Forsyth County EMS arrived on the scene and took over lifesaving efforts. The male was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from injuries.
Investigators identified the victim as Timothy Allen Killion, 42, from Winston-Salem. The suspect has been identified as Tyler Ray Crouse, 24.
Crouse was charged with felony murder and placed in the Forsyth County Detention Center with no bond allowed. His first court appearance was Tuesday.
