USPS carrier robbed on S. Holden Rd. in Greensboro, police say

Police said officers responded to Stonesthrow Apartments.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police confirmed that a USPS carrier was robbed in Greensboro Thursday.

Greensboro police said officers responded to Stonesthrow Apartments on the 2400 block of South Holden Road shortly before 11 a.m.

Officers said the carrier told them the man was armed and came towards him from the direction of Farmington Road and then ran away.

The investigation is ongoing.

This is the third mail carrier robbery in Greensboro in a week.
