Booker St. 'all clear' after shooting prompts Aggie Alert

Greensboro police and University police are investigating the shots fired on Booker Street.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — An Aggie Alert was sent out Tuesday morning saying, "The incident near University Landing area has been cleared. Resume normal activities."

This after hours of students being asked to avoid the area around University Landing and Sebastian Village on Booker St. because of a report of shots fired. University police and Greensboro police are investigating.

Our photographer on the scene saw what appeared to be a car with gunshot damage. Neighbors tell him there were no injuries, but we're still trying to confirm that with the police. We are also trying to find out if a suspect is in custody. What we do know is the University says the area is safe for students again.

This story is developing. Check back for updates.
