RALEIGH, N.C. — A student is dead, and another is hurt after a stabbing at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School, according to the Raleigh police chief, Raleigh CBS affiliate, WNCN reports.
Officers said the students were found stabbed in the school's gym Monday.
One juvenile suspect is in custody after the stabbing, Raleigh police say.
Raleigh police said that a large presence is at the school while investigators figure out what led to the stabbing.
WNCN reports that the scene is secured, and the stabbings appear to be isolated. There is no further threat to the community or school, according to Raleigh police.
Officers have not confirmed if there were any more suspects involved. This investigation is ongoing.
