Two men arrested after armed robbery, chase through the Triad

Greensboro police said Rockingham County Sheriff's Office, Reidsville Police and the NC Highway Patrol were all involved in the chase.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said the Shell Gas Station on Battleground Avenue was robbed around 1 a.m. Friday morning. 

Two men showed a gun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. They drove off in a gold Chevrolet Tahoe. 

Officers attempted a traffic stop which led to a car chase on US 29 north toward Reidsville. Surrounding agencies, including State Highway Patrol, joined the chase. 

Officers arrested 22-year-old Darrel Adams and 33-year-old Roy Herbin. They were taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. 

Both men have faced multiple charges including robbery with a dangerous weapon.
