RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — The remains of a missing Winston-Salem man were found at a home in Archdale, according to warrants.
Thomas 'TK' Burton has been missing since July 29 and was identified after human remains were found at the home of 31-year-old Beau Benjamin Martin on Sept. 16, according to court documents.
Randolph County deputies went to Martin's home on Rob Cruthis Road in Archdale for assistance in a missing persons investigation last week. They said they found remains at the property, but they weren't identified at the time. Martin was taken into custody and was charged with felony/fail conceal a report of death after the remains were found. He was given a $15,000 bond.
Martin's arrest eventually led investigators to identify the remains as those belonging to TK Burton.
