Thomasville police searching for man shopping with stolen credit cards

Police said he stole credit cards out the wallet and used them to buy Visa gift cards from a Harris Teeter in High Point.

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A man is wanted for breaking into a car and stealing a wallet in Thomasville, police say. 

Officers said the man broke into a car in the 100 block of Maryland Drive on Oct. 9, stole a wallet, and then used the stolen credit cards to buy Visa gift cards at Harris Teeter in High Point on Eastchester Drive. 

After loading the cards with $999.97, he stole merchandise from the store.
