Suspected thief stole wallet, used victim's card to buy MacBook: Randolph County Sheriff's Office

The suspect reportedly stole a wallet from someone's car and used a stolen debit card to purchase a MacBook.

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — The Randolph County Sheriff's Office is still looking for the suspect in a theft that happened at Holly Ridge Golf Links in Archdale in early August.

On Aug. 3, deputies say an unknown male entered an unlocked vehicle at Holly Ridge Golf Links and stole someone's wallet. The suspect then proceeded to use the victim's debit card to buy an Apple MacBook at the Best Buy in Greensboro.

A surveillance photo from Best Buy shows the suspect wearing a white Titleist hat, a short-sleeve polo style shirt, dark shorts and a black facemask.
