GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 19-year-old was shot to death by an employee at an adult nightclub in Greensboro early Friday morning, according to police.
The Greensboro Police Department (GPD) said around 1:31 a.m. on May 3, they received a report of a shooting at The Treasure Club, located at 7806 Boeing Drive.
When police officers and a Guilford County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrived, they found Malaki A. Pegram, 19 shot dead in the parking lot.
Officers said they found and detained an employee of the club, 41-year-old Christopher Bryan Jones, and charged him with one count of first-degree murder in connection with this shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
