GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police arrested a man Thursday morning in connection with a shooting death from 2023.
Officers arrested 67-year-old Virgil Benjamin from Whiteville, NC.
In March 2023, officers found 62-year-old Robert Starr Pennix suffering from a gunshot wound on Peterson Avenue. He later died from his injuries.
Benjamin was arrested without incident and is confined to the Guilford County Jail with no bond. Police are not looking for any additional suspects in connection with this investigation.
