SUMMERFIELD, N.C. — A former Summerfield Charter Academy teacher was arrested for secret peeping and sex crimes with students on Aug. 31, according to the Guilford County Sheriff's Office.
Michael David Evans, 40, was arrested and charged with eight counts of Felony Secret Peeping and eight counts of Felony Indecent Liberties with a Student.
Evans is currently being held under a $200,000 secured bond.
Deputies said Summerfield Charter Academy is cooperating fully with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
