Subway employees forced into backroom at gunpoint by armed robbers, police say

Police have not located the suspects.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Subway restaurant in Winston-Salem was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday, Dec. 9 around 9:53 p.m., according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

The Subway was located at 1527 Peters Creek Parkway.

According to police, two male suspects wearing all-black hoodies, black pants, black face masks and white gloves entered the Subway with semi-automatic handguns. One suspect was wearing brown shoes and the other suspect had white shoes.

The two suspects robbed the Subway of an undisclosed amount of money. 

Before running from the scene, police said the suspects forced the employees into a backroom at gunpoint.

A canine unit came to the scene, using a K-9 to track, but were unable to find the suspects.

No one was injured in the incident.
