Traffic stop leads to search of suspect's home in Winston-Salem, police say

Winston-Salem police said they seized stolen guns, cocaine, and money from a driver after a traffic stop led to a search warrant of their home.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Multiple guns, drugs, and money were seized from a driver after a traffic stop in Winston-Salem, according to police.

During the traffic stop, officers said they found a stolen gun, cocaine, and money on the driver. 

As a result, the Forsyth County Drug Task Force (FCDTF) followed up by conducting a search warrant at the suspect's home.

The following additional items were seized as a result of the search warrant:

  • 6 additional firearms
  • Drug manufacturing equipment
