GREENSBORO, N.C. — Jazzlyn Ingram pleaded guilty to weapons and kidnapping charges after she shot into a Spectrum call center, the Guilford County Chief Assistant District Attorney.

On June 8, 2023, Greensboro police said they responded to the call center on North Regional Road after employees inside the building began calling 911 around 11:22 a.m. saying that someone was inside the building actively shooting a gun.

When police arrived, officers said they found one suspect outside of the building and another suspect in the parking lot.

Ingram and her husband, Richard Ingram, were both arrested.

On Monday, Jan. 29, Jazzlyn pleaded guilty to discharging a weapon into an occupied building and second-degree kidnapping.

Jazzlyn was sentenced to 25 to 42 months. After hearing from witnesses, the judge decided she would serve four 4 months in prison and then go on probation for 30 months as well as receive mental health treatment.

The DA said that if she violates her probation, she will have to serve the balance of her 25-42 month sentence in prison.
