Eden police investigating overnight shooting on 2nd St. where a man was shot multiple times

EDEN, N.C. — A man was shot multiple times in an overnight shooting in Eden, according to police.  

The Eden Police Department said they responded to the 1200 block of Second Street around 12:16 a.m. Tuesday where they found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds. 

During an investigation, detectives said a fight between two men at a home led up to the shooting. 

The victim is in stable condition, police said.

Detectives said there was no danger to the public or the neighborhood.

Eden police said one individual was detained as this investigation is ongoing.
