Greensboro police investigate deadly shooting near Boston's House of Jazz

This is an ongoing investigation.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was found shot to death on the sidewalk in front of Boston's House of Jazz on Sunday, Aug. 4, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

At around 9:40 p.m., police were called to 1011 Arnold St. about a shooting.

When they arrived, police said they found Teldrekus D. Young, 44, on the sidewalk with "free bleeding trauma consistent with gunshot wounds".

Guilford County EMS arrived on the scene and pronounced Young dead.

Police are investigating his death as a homicide.
