Rockingham Co. inmate tries to hire woman, juvenile to murder associate, local attorney, deputies say

Rockingham County deputies said Tevion Flippen tried to get two people to murder one of his associates and a local attorney.

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — A Rockingham County inmate tries to hire a woman and juvenile to commit a first-degree murder, according to Rockingham County deputies. 

Detectives have learned through investigation that inmate Tevion Antonio Flippen, 21, tried to hire Kelesha Jene Anderson, 25, and a juvenile to murder one of his associates and attorney. 

Due to safety concerns, the victims will not be identified. Information about the juvenile charged concerning these solicitations cannot be released. 

During the investigation, multiple search warrants were executed, resulting in the seizure of multiple electronic devices, cocaine, and an AR15 rifle. 

This investigation is ongoing.
