BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Greensboro man faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon connected to a suspected case of road rage in Burlington, according to police.
Police said it happened Saturday around 4:15 p.m. They found a 21-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound. While investigating, they found he had been shot in a road rage incident near South Church Street and Glenwood Avenue.
Police found the suspect vehicle during a call to a nearby hit-and-run. They arrested 30-year-old Justice Oliver Connor. He was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
The victim went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
