Greensboro homeowner captures break-in suspects on Ring doorbell video

One of the suspects appears to pose as a pizza delivery person.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro homeowner is on high alert after he said his Ring doorbell camera captured suspects right before they broke into his home in the Lake Jeanette area.

It happened on Tuesday shortly before 6 p.m. Greensboro police confirmed they got a call about a breaking and entering in the North Beech neighborhood.

The police report confirms that there was forcible entry into the home, along with items taken.

They're still investigating.

The homeowner said his home surveillance cameras captured three men trespassing on his property. He said two of the men got inside the home through a window and took jewelry and cash. He said the suspects made a mess inside.

The homeowner shared Ring doorbell video with WFMY News 2. In it, you can see one man pose as a pizza delivery person before walking through the front yard and out of the frame. In another video from the back of the house, you can see two men snooping around the back door. They are there for almost two minutes before walking away.

The suspects have not been found but GPD did confirm that the men pictured in the videos are in fact the suspects.
