RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — The Randolph County Sheriff's Office has arrested a registered sex offender after he allegedly was on the same premises as a child Friday.
A Sex Offender Registry detective received information that James Tyler White, 33, was on a child premise on Sept. 13. He was located by the detective Friday and was arrested on one charge of felony sex offender on child premises.
White was transported to Randolph County Detention Center and has been issued a $10,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Monday, Sept. 16.
No other information has been released.
