EDEN, N.C. — A woman is facing a $10 million bond in connection to a deadly shooting at a bar in Eden, according to police.
On Oct. 1, police said 39-year-old Al Jamar Lindsey was found dead in a parking lot on North Hundley Street with multiple gunshot wounds.
After the initial investigation, police said two women were fighting when Lindsey was shot. However, Lindsey, who was not involved in the fight, was approached by a person who fired shots at him at close range.
The person left the Rabbit Hole after the shooting.
Since then, police arrested 22-year-old Aaron Noel Johnson Marriott and charged him with murder.
Officers also arrested the Rabbit Hole owner Tina Lawson and charged her with two felonies for accessory to murder.
Now, police have arrested 43-year-old Leslie Nicole Smith and charged her with felony accessory to murder in connection to the incident.
Smith is behind bars at the Rockingham County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in the Rockingham County District Court on Dec 13, 2023.
