WOODBRIDGE, Va. -- A 38-year-old Woodbridge woman was arrested for child neglect after a disabled 17-year-old male was found living inside of her Woodbridge home with feces and unsafe conditions, police said.
Dena Lanay Arnold, 38, of Woodbridge was arrested and is being charged with felony child neglect.
Officers responded to a home in the 14400 block of Village Dr. for a welfare check on May 15. A concerned caller asked police to check up on the welfare of the teenager leaving at the home. The concerns were regarding sanitary conditions at the house.
Police found feces inside of the home and unsafe conditions.
The victim was given to another family member and Arnold was arrested.
