MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Myrtle Beach police have identified the victims of a double homicide at an oceanfront hotel as a North Carolina couple.
Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard tells area media outlets that the victims of the Friday shootings were 52-year-old Carrie Daley Turner and 61-year-old Steven Gray Turner of Durham, North Carolina.
WBTW reports that Alexander Gray Turner and Chelsi Leila Griffin, both of Conway, have been arrested in connection to the killings. Alexander is the son of the couple that was killed.
Police have made four arrests total in the slayings. Police say Alexander Turner and Chelsi Griffin will face charges from the shooting, but no formal warrants have been served yet.
Two others have been charged with accessory after the fact.
The arrests were made after the search of an apartment in Conway near Coastal Carolina University on Saturday.
Lt. Joey Crosby says the slayings are thought to have resulted from a domestic dispute.
