BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police said they have arrested in connection to a cutting incident at Holly Hill Mall.
Officers arrested 18-year-old Jaylen Francisco Garin after the investigation. The victim was confirmed to be a 34-year-old man.
Officers said Garin was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He received a $5,000 bond.
The 34-year-old was cut in an alleyway near the entrance of the mall next to Publix on Monday.
Officers said the victim is expected to make full recovery.
