WILKES COUNTY, N.C. — A person was shot in the head Saturday night on Noah Harrold Road in Wilkes County, according to the sheriff's office.
The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the Hays Community. Deputies said found the person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
