BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police found a woman shot inside of a car in early Saturday morning, according to Burlington police.
Officers say it happened Saturday morning around 12:13 a.m.
Just after midnight, police say they responded to Brown Bear Dr. and Tucker St. in reference to a shooting.
When they got to the scene, they say they found a car with a 28-year-old woman inside suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say the woman was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing, and police say more information will be coming.
