HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police said several people are facing charges after a two year drug investigation.
High Point police said the investigation led to 11 search warrants executed across Guilford and Forsyth counties.
Detectives with the High Point Police Department’s Vice/Narcotics Unit and members of the High Point Police Department’s SWAT team executed the search warrants across High Point, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Kernersville on March 14.
SWAT teams from the Greensboro Police Department, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office and the Winston-Salem Police Department also assisted.
As a result, officers arrested seven people and seized:
- Several ounces of heroin, fentanyl, marijuana and cocaine
- Eight illegal firearms, including two weapons that were reported stolen
- Two vehicles reported stolen out of Atlanta
- About $65,000 in cash
The search warrants were executed at six places in High Point including--the 2400 block of Francis Avenue, two homes in the 800 block of Tryon Avenue, the 600 block of Rotary Avenue, the 2200 block of Kirkwood Street, and the 200 block of Taylor Street.
Also the investigation included two homes in Winston-Salem, two homes in Greensboro and one home in Kernersville.
The following people were charged in the investigation:
Raekwon Blocker, 25, of High Point was charged with:
- Chop Shop activity
- Possession of stolen motor vehicle
- Possession with intent to manufacture controlled substance schedule I
- Two counts of Possession with intent to manufacture controlled substance schedule II
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver controlled substance schedule IV
- Manufacture controlled substance schedule I
- Manufacture/sell/distribute/possess controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school
- Manufacture/sell/distribute/possess controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park
- Maintain a vehicle/dwelling for controlled substance
- Trafficking heroin
- Trafficking methamphetamines
- Felony conspiracy
- Alter/forging title
- Failure to appear
Blocker was arrested in Winston-Salem and no bond was allowed.
Nikonda Ingram, 30, of Greensboro was charged with:
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver controlled substance schedule II
- Manufacture/sell/distribute/possess controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park
- Trafficking methamphetamines
- Felony conspiracy
Ingram was arrested in Greensboro. His bond was set at $150,000.
Terrence Peterson, 24, of Winston-Salem was charged with:
- Possession with intent to manufacture controlled substance schedule I
- Possessing stolen goods
- Trafficking cocaine
- Sell/deliver within 1,000 feet of a school or daycare
- Possession with intent to manufacture controlled substance schedule I
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver controlled substance schedule IV
- Trafficking methamphetamines
- Two counts of Possession of a firearm by felon
Peterson was arrested in Kernersville.
George A. Allison, Jr. , 25, of High Point was charged with:
- Possession with intent to manufacture controlled substance schedule I
Allison was arrested in Greensboro and his bond is set at $10,000.
Shaquille Peterson, 31, of High Point was charged with:
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver controlled substance schedule I
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver controlled substance schedule II
- Manufacture controlled substance schedule II
- Manufacture/sell/distribute/possess controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school
- Trafficking methamphetamines
- Trafficking heroin
- Conspiracy to traffic methamphetamines
- Maintain dwelling/vehicle for controlled substance
Peterson was arrested in Greensboro and his bond is set at $200,000.
Helen Burns, 63, of High Point was charged with:
- Accessing computers or artifice to defraud
- Trafficking heroin
- Maintain dwelling/vehicle for controlled substance
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver controlled substance schedule VI
- Altering/forging certificate or registration application
Burns was arrested in High Point and her bond was set at $10,000.
Mekhi Watts, 18, was charged with:
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver controlled substance schedule II
- Felony conspiracy
Watts was arrested in Kernersville.
