MT. AIRY, NC (WFMY) -- According to the Surry County Sheriff's Office, a Mount Airy couple has been arrested after 18 marijuana plants, methamphetamines, alprazolam pills, drug paraphernalia, and five guns were seized from a home at 370 Rick Road in Mt. Airy.
Officers developed probable cause to issue the search warrant and the warrant was executed by the Surry County Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement team on Friday, June 1, 2018.
56-year-old Glen Wade Tate received a $30,000 bond after being charged with 1 count of Manufacturing Marijuana, 1 Count Possession of Methamphetamine, 1 Count of Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, 1 count Maintaining a Drug Dwelling, and 2 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
59-year old Vickie Puckett Tate received a $15,000 bond after being charged with 1 count of Manufacturing Marijuana, 1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine, 1 count of Maintaining a Drug Dwelling, 1 count of Possession of Schedule IV Alprazolam, and 2 Counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
