STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — UPDATE: Deputies said Jessica Straub is being held in Oklahoma pending extradition proceedings to bring her back to North Carolina. She will face charges in North Carolina for Felony Breaking and Entering, and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.

A missing woman accused of stealing a van is facing charges as of Monday, according to the Stokes County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Jessica Straub went missing from a campground in Pinnacle and asked people to check their cameras for help finding her.

The case goes back to Michigan.

The Pinnacle Fire Department shared a post from a close friend that said Straub disappeared from the state last week.

The post said her belongings and car were found in Pinnacle. Investigators said they searched the woods for her.

The sheriff's office said Straub stole a car from the campground.

Video footage put her at a store in Hickory on Sunday.

Deputies plan to charge her with stealing a motor vehicle and said they're no longer searching for her.

“I would like to thank the community for stepping up and being there to help out. I would also like to thank our emergency services, fire personnel, and volunteers who were there to help. The media did a great job getting the information out as were actively searching. Everyone did an amazing job. That’s what it takes, everyone working together, and Stokes County is blessed,” Stokes County Sheriff Lemons said.
