WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A 21-year-old man is in the hospital after a shooting in Winston-Salem Friday.
Winston-Salem police said they arrived at the 800 block of E. Devonshire Street around 7:20 p.m. in reference to a reported shooting and found Kevin Garcia-Hernandez , 21, had been shot multiple times.
Garcia-Hernandez was taken to the hospital.
Officers said his injuries are considered serious and life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
