BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man is charged for recording women inside a church bathroom in Burlington, police say.
Officers received the report Sunday stating that Isai Lara Bolaina, 19, set up a recording device in a women's bathroom at Jesus es Vida Church on Hawkins Street.
Bolaina was charged with one count of indecent liberties with children and one count of secretly peeping into a room occupied by a female on Sunday, April 28.
He was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center and received a $100,000 bond.
Later, after further investigation, Bolania received additional charges on May 20: one count of secretly using a photographic imaging device to view another’s body or undergarments, one count of possessing a photographic image obtained in violation of the peeping statute, and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Police said the added charges were from discovering additional victims.
He received no bond for these charges.
