GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was robbed at gunpoint Sunday in Winston-Salem after meeting a person selling a cell phone. The robbery happened at the Hardee’s on Clemmonsville Road, police say.
Ricardo Rivas-Vasquez, 40, made arrangements to buy a cell phone from man using the ‘Let Go’ website, he told police. Vasquez said he agreed to meet the person in the parking lot of the Hardee’s in order to make the transaction.
When the two arrived in the parking lot, the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money.
The suspect then left the scene in a silver Pontiac Grand Am.
The suspect was described as being 6'2-6'4 in height and wearing a dark toboggan, black flight jacket, camo pants, and white shoes.
No one was injured during the incident.
