Man murdered on Harvest Road in McLeansville; investigation underway: Sheriff's Office

MCLEANSVILLE, N.C. — The Guilford County Sheriff's Office announced Monday it is in the process of conducting an active homicide investigation after deputies found a deceased man with "multiple gunshot" wounds Monday morning in McLeansville.

According to the Sheriff's Office, at approximately 6 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to a 911 call regarding an "unknown problem, man down." When they arrived on Harvest Road, they found a man dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds. 

No information about the victim or a possible suspect has been released.
