BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — Alfred Louis Logan, Jr., a man charged with killings in multiple states, has been sentenced to at least three decades inside a North Carolina prison.
Logan was sentenced to between 30 and 37 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder, according to a Wednesday announcement from North Carolina State Attorney General Josh Stein.
Logan was charged with murdering Kedrick Tevon Green in Arden, North Carolina in November 2021. Green was found dead inside his car from a gunshot wound.
Investigators linked Logan to Green's death using cell phone location data.
Logan is also charged with murders in Birmingham, Alabama; York County, South Carolina; and Wake County, North Carolina. Those cases are expected to go to court on future dates.
