BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man is behind bars after a car wash was robbed in Burlington Friday.
Burlington police said they responded to the Auto Bell Carwash at 3420 S. Church Street in regards to a robbery around 4 p.m.
Investigators said officers saw the suspect's car a short distance away and took the suspect, Lamon Lydell Mitchell, 43, of Whitsett into custody.
Mitchell was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center under no bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
