Man charged with failing to report death after human remains found at home in Archdale

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — Following an investigation at Rob Cruthis Road in Archdale on Monday, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office announced that a man has been charged with concealing a death.

Winston-Salem Police contacted the Randolph County Sheriff's Office to assist with a missing persons investigation. After arriving at Rob Cruthis Road, the office's Criminal Investigations Division located human remains at the residence of Beau Benjamin Martin.

Martin, 31, was charged with felony fail/conceal report of death and was taken to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was issued a $15,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was scheduled for Tuesday in Randolph County District Court.

The human remains have been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh for examination and identification.
